Colorado's Legacy Cremation Services has been comforting families for over twenty years with honorable and meaningful funeral services for their loved ones. Availability
When you need the help of Legacy Cremation Services give us a call, and you will actually have a live trained staff member answer you. We are available 24 hours a day, every day to make arrangements or answer your questions. It is typical of everyone who has to make this kind of call to be nervous and not know what to say, but our sensitive staff member will guide you through questions and help you come to a few basic conclusions. All of the arrangements do not need to be made on that first phone call as long as we get enough information from you we can proceed with either preparing a funeral, or arranging for a cremation to take place.
We do not want to cause you any more stress than you are already feeling so we do make the offer of coming to your home to decide on the final funeral services.
Final Arrangement Choices
Making the final arrangements include making many choices of funeral services, cremations, caskets if funeral homes are the choice, urns if cremation is chosen. There are many more procedures for having a viewing in choice funeral homes in Colorado, than there are for cremations.
We will discuss the exact prices of cremation and memorial versus traditional funeral services with you before any final decisions are made, and we will never try to pressure you into one choice or another. We are there to work for you and have the service that you want for you loved one at a price you can afford. Based on our experience we may offer suggestions for how you can celebrate a life rather than having a somber visitation, or how to honor someone who has been cremated. We may even offer suggestions that will save you money, of course, you are not obligated to take any of our suggestions but we will try to help you if price is a factor.
Prices
Prices will vary between funeral homes and cremation services establishments but one cost is for certain, cremation is less costly than any funeral services are. When you choose to use funeral homes there are procedures that must be followed by law, before a burial can occur.
Listed below are the extra services performed for funeral homes:

  • your loved one will have to be embalmed,
  • dressed with make-up applied,
  • a casket needs to be chosen for visitation in the funeral homes viewing rooms,
  • a cemetery plot needs to be purchased and opened,
  • a hearse must be used for transporting your loved one,
  • a liner or vault must contain the casket upon burial, unless the casket will be placed in a mausoleum.

These funeral services are not necessary unless you decide on the use of a funeral home, and they are what makes a funeral cost more than a cremation. We know that either for religious beliefs or personal reasons a person or surviving family may choose to use the services of funeral homes and we at Legacy Cremation Services in Colorado will make all the arrangements for funeral services down to the last detail. To keep things a little easier for you we will come by and pick up the clothes that you want your loved one dressed in and still take care of every detail, no matter how small, we take pride in arranging all details so you can sit back and be with your family.
Being There For You in Your Time of Need
Whether you choose funeral or cremation we at Legacy Cremation Services in Colorado want you to know that we will be by your side every step of the way. We do not just make arrangements and disappear, we will be with you to answer your questions, deal with the funeral services, go over the funeral setting, and be there for you when you are grieving.
