Sometimes, family members will feel that a formal service is very important and they will want to have an open casket funeral, prior to the cremation process. If this is the case you can still save money. Choose a lower-cost combustible casket made for cremation, or rent a casket from the funeral home. This will ensure that your loved one still has the kind of service that you deem important.
