We are here to help, we will discuss everything that needs to done by you, which will not be much if you use New Mexico's Legacy Cremation Services, and all of the cremation costs.
Cremation costs versus Funeral Costs
If your plans for cremation services need to be made on an affordable budget cremation costs are at least the cost of having a funeral. When you have a funeral you need to pay for the embalming, the casket, the extra hearse, and possibly limousines. If you are going to have your loved one buried the cost goes even higher as you need to pay for a cemetery plot, the opening of the plot, the vault or liner that goes inside the ground, and upkeep fees.
None of these fees are applicable to cremation services, that is why cremation costs are so much less than funerals. Now a cremation services do not have to end after the process is complete. These days people are having ceremonies just like you would see for a funeral but they are called memorials and there is no viewing of the deceased in the casket. You can have a funeral with viewing before cremation and save money by renting a casket for the viewing, but you will still have to pay for the embalming.
When it comes down to it, cremation costs are always less expensive than funerals, even if you have an elaborate memorial service.
Commemorative Services
Relish Reflect Reminisce
A commemorative or memorial service, can be held anywhere in New Mexico that you would like it to be, a hall, restaurant, your home, memorial parks, the sea, even at a funeral parlor. It does not matter so much where you have a memorial service but rather that you celebrate a lived well lived when you have the memorial.
That is what we here at New Mexico's Legacy Cremation Services encourage, having a memorial service that reflects the life or your loved one. With a typical funeral service people sit around and whisper to each other, no one really seems very happy, only sad their loved one is gone.
No one ever seems to stand up and talk about the great life someone had, or how lucky they were to have that person in it. No one mentions how many contributions they made to so many other lives. Whether it was taking care of their grandchildren and teaching them things only a grandparent could, or getting together with their friends for a scrapbooking party or a round of golf, no one seems to mention those times, or those life lessons that were learned from the person in a good way.
A celebration of life with New Mexico's Legacy Cremation Services will help you to remember your loved one with fond and happy thoughts.
Be thankful that your loved one was a part of your life, not sad because they are not anymore.
For a memorial service like this you need to surround the area of the memorial with items from your loved ones life that remind you of happy times, objects that made them happy. Perhaps they loved lying on a hammock, bring that in and place it near to them, maybe they surfed, you could bring in their surf board, or a box of cigars, or even their favorite chair.
Any object that made your loved one who they were, that gave their life meaning, is appropriate to bring in to the memorial. Remember be grateful you had your loved one in your life and you should be able to think of many things they taught you, or that you enjoyed with them.
New Mexico's Legacy Cremation Services affordable cremation costs and nearly twenty-five years of experience helping you find your way during this difficult time will stand by you throughout your journey.
