Mississippi
Mississippi's Legacy Cremation Services Over Two Decades of Trusted Service for Families in Need
Mississippi's Legacy Cremation Services has given over two decades of trusted service for families in need of cremation for a loved one who has passed away. Our two decades of trust comes from being family owned and operated and the communities we serve recommending our services.
Staff
Many of our staff members are also family, being owned and operated by the same family for over twenty years it is usual that many of our family members have gone into the same business. This is something we are proud of, and our customers are happy with.
Our staff is available every day of the year, and twenty four hours a day. It does not matter what time of day or night you call one of our professional staff members will be there to guide you through your questions and offer help if you do not know what to ask. We understand that when you are in charge of planning cremation services for someone for the first time you will be nervous and probably feel lost. We are prepared for this and will tell you exactly what needs to be done.
Over the phone we can go over all of the choices you have and the funeral or cremation costs you may incur.
Ease of Service
Dealing with the death of someone you loved is hard enough, but having to make the arrangements for the funeral or cremation services, is even harder while trying to keep your own in life in order. That is where Legacy Cremation Services steps in and makes all of the arrangements for you, but never before going over the cremation costs.
When you tell us what type of funeral or cremation you want and we make all of the choices together we will take care of the rest. We make all calls to the coroner, cover the transportation to the crematorium, or funeral home, file papers for Veterans, and Social Security benefits, and take care of any life insurance papers and calls that need to be placed.
This is just the beginning, and you can already see how much time you will be saving by not having to collect certified death certificates for the benefits, funeral homes, cremation and insurance. Call and make arrangements for transportation, and fill out and file paperwork.
All of this is included in the cremation costs that you are quoted as basic.
The Memorial After Cremation Services
If cremation is chosen there is normally a memorial service afterwards, as opposed to a funeral in Mississippi. A memorial can take place anywhere, be anything you want it to be, and at any time you want to have the service.
At Legacy Cremation Services, we tend to recommend a celebration of life memorial to give your loved one after the cremation is over.
This is not included in the original cremation costs.
A memorial service does not have to be in place of a burial, it can be before the ashes are buried, placed in a mausoleum, or taken home and put in a place of honor. The important thing is that a memorial or cremation service reflect the life of your loved one. This is not only a time for everyone to say goodbye to the departed, it is also the time to start grieving, or mourning. Memorial services are just as much for the people left behind as they are for the deceased.
That is why with a celebration of life you can remember the happier times, times your loved one enjoyed, or happy memories that you have, can be shared with everyone. The important thing is to look at the positive aspects of a person's life, how they contributed to yours and those around you.
The memorial itself can vary and is not included in the original cremation costs we quote. Some people choose to have small memorial services which would certainly be less for cremation costs. That is why we do not quote that, in the original cremation costs price, someone could choose to have an elaborate service with many people on a yacht for scattering the ashes at sea, and we will not know to include that price at first.
We will make all of the arrangements for whatever type of memorial services you desire but the final cremation costs will reflect those services. Mississippi's Legacy Cremation Services has given over two decades of trusted service for families in need of cremation for a loved one who has passed away, and will continue to help families like yours for decades more.
