I just wanted to say thanks for the beautiful memorial service. It was so personal and dignified (just how my husband would have wanted). Thank you for helping me celebrate such a wonderful life with such honor.

Idaho's Legacy Cremation Services Helping You to Find Peace in Your Time of Sorrow

Idaho's Legacy Cremation Services helps you find peace in your time of sorrow and creates beautiful services at cremation costs that you can afford. Many residents of Idaho are now choosing cremation over funeral services due to many reasons, one being the price.
Cremation Costs are much less expensive than funeral homes, but they can still be as meaningful when you choose to let Legacy take care of the services.
Cremation Questions Answered
Even though cremation is becoming as popular as funeral services many people do not understand the process or think that once the cremation is performed there will be no way to have a meaningful service. This is simply not true.
You can still have funeral service at a funeral home with visitation and cremate the deceased after the services, or you can use cremation before and rent the funeral homes viewing room to have a memorial service. Either way Legacy Cremation Services will make sure that you have the type of goodbye you or your loved wanted.
Cremation is the process of reducing the deceased's body to ashes by intense heat in a crematorium. If you choose to do this with no funeral service the cremation costs will be much lower than if done after a full funeral. In cremation there is no expense for embalming or dressing the departed, which keeps cremation costs low and affordable.
A memorial service can be held after the cremation process at any time or place. You may want to wait for family and friends to arrive before having a memorial, and that makes the process much easier for you and us to arrange. One of the reasons families are choosing cremation is not only the cremation costs but also the convenience.
If family members live far away and you want to hold the memorial services in another state cremation is also much easier than transporting a body. There will be no refrigeration involved and this too reduces the cost.
The memorial can still be arranged by Legacy Cremation Services, even if it is out of state. We will contact the place you choose to have the memorial and make the arrangements for the amount of people who will be attending. This way you have less to worry about, which is our goal at this time. We want you to be able to spend this time with family and friends while we do the work for you and we ensure that the cremation costs do not go above your budget..
What Legacy Cremation Services Offer
When you make the decision to use Legacy you can rest assured that all services will be handled and the cremation costs will be affordable to you.
Legacy will make all of the arrangements with the hospital or medical examiner for death certificates so we can begin the process and also do other paperwork for you. We will assist you with filing for any life insurance your loved one had, or Government benefits, and if your loved one serviced in the armed force they are most likely entitles to Veterans benefits and a burial in the Idaho National Cemetery. We will make all the calls necessary to have this service set up for you at no extra cremation costs.
We also take the deceased to and from the crematorium and make sure that all identification is done properly. If they were an organ donor they will have their donations removed before they leave the hospital. We also check the hospital or medical examiner to see if any medical devices that are not compatible with cremation removed before the process.
If your family needs to make travel plans to come to Idaho Legacy will also make the flight plans. Or if you need to transport the deceased to another state we will manage those plans also.
Anything we can do to make this time of your life a little easier is we strive for at Legacy Cremation Services in Idaho.
Tribute to Your Loved One
A memorial service is what usually takes place after the cremation services, unless a funeral visitation is scheduled to happen before cremation. Legacy feels that it is better for you, your family and friends if you try to have a service that commemorates the life of the dearly departed, instead of a subdued memorial.
Commemorating a life well lived is what most people would want for their end of life services, as opposed to a group of family and friends that are sitting around sadly not remembering the happy times.
Idaho's Legacy Cremation Services goal is to help you to find peace in your time of sorrow with beautiful, dignified services at reasonable cremation costs.
